Kelly Faulkner
Trainee Solicitor

I am a trainee solicitor in the employment team based in the City Centre office.

I assist Charles Millett with a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious matters on behalf employers involving a wide-range of issues across the employment and HR practice area.

Since joining the employment team, I have been involved in achieving successful outcomes for employers in a number of cases, including in relation to claims for unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, employment status and discrimination on the grounds of disability, pregnancy and maternity.

I have also assisted to advise companies working across a broad range of sectors, including the civil service, hospitality and legal sectors.

I joined Morecrofts in August 2016 as a paralegal in the employment team before beginning my training contract in October 2017. As part of my training contract, I have completed seats in the Family and Private Client departments.

Prior to joining Morecrofts, I studied Law with Politics at the University of Manchester and completed the LPC at the University of Law, where I graduated with a distinction and was awarded the prize for the highest overall performance in my year.

Outside of work, I am a governor for Christ Church CE Primary School in Birkenhead where I chair the school’s finance and resource committee.
